Once, in Elmira, Ontario, I got a ticket from Officer Malolepszy of the Waterloo Regional Police

At Elmira,
Going through,
At the speed of 92.
Shall I slow down?
Now would you?
All the cops
Are probably down
At a bar
Across the town;
Drinking beer,
And fooling around!
But do I see
A flashing light
When I am not
In the right?
Is on my fender
Not in a bar
Having a bender!
Waterloo Regional
Are not a mob
They don’t mess around
They’re on the job!
From now on
I’ll not fool myself:
I’ll only speed
When I’m in Guelph.
