I walk in and say, “Hi! I am Bob Munsch. You wrote me a letter.”
Ms. Wilson just sits in the rocking chair with her mouth open. “It really is Bob Munsch.”, says Ms Brisbane, “I checked him out.”
Ms. Wilson still just sits in the rocking chair with her mouth open. Finally some kid yells, “It is Bob Munsch! I know him from the back of the books.”
Finally Ms. Wilson jumps up and gives me a hug. Teachers do not usually give me hugs. Ms. Wilson must be a very huggy teacher.
Then I sit in the rocking chair and tell stoires and answer questions and give each kid a cookie and a book. When it is time to leave all the girls and some of the boys give me a huge group hug. I guess it is a very huggy class and that is ok because they have a huggy teacher.
