I wrote this in 1993, for Rebecca Cunningham who lives on Kodiak Island, Alaska
A Kodiak Bear
Was in my hair,
And wouldn’t go home
For lunch.
I let it eat
My mother’s feet
And now it likes me a bunch.
My daddy said,
“I want it dead!”
And ran to get a gun.
I hope it eats
My daddy’s feet
Cause daddies are no fun.
